Just a month after the previous post about GPU prices in Europe, prices have changed quite a bit and it’s a good time to revisit the European GPU market once again. Let’s have a look at the GPU prices in Europe using Amazon.fr and check which one gives the best “bang for the buck” as YouTubers like to say.

I will use Hardware Unboxed comparison of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Review & Benchmarks - Not Great, Not Terrible for this post.

Then let’s get the data from Hardware Unboxed video:

GPU Model Price (€) 1440p Average (fps) 1440p € / FPS (€) 4K Average (fps) 4K € / FPS (€)
RTX 5080 1600.67 135 11.86 83 19.29
RTX 5070 Ti 1148.19 120 9.57 73 15.73
RTX 5070 852.72 99 8.61 57 14.96
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB 516.00 76 6.79 42 12.29
RTX 4070 Ti Super 1303.60 113 11.54 66 19.75
RTX 4070 Super 699.99 99 7.07 56 12.50
RTX 4070 649.41 84 7.73 47 13.82
RX 9070 XT 969.56 115 8.43 70 13.85
RX 9070 833.59 105 7.94 61 13.67
RX 7900 XTX 979.00 133 7.36 78 12.55
RX 7900 XT 749.00 113 6.63 64 11.70
RX 7900 GRE 623.00 95 6.56 53 11.75
RX 7800 XT 553.71 89 6.22 49 11.30
RX 7700 XT 431.15 73 5.91 41 10.52

Once again, you can see AMD dominates the price to performance ratio with 4 cards in the top 5. The new Nvidia card from PALIT, oddly cheap, is the fifth card. Regarding AMD though, only previous generation cards are in this top 5.

Note that if you buy in Germany, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB becomes the best price to performance ratio closely followed by previous gen AMD cards, RTX 5070 and then current gen AMD cards.

So there you have it, this new lew-end card offers a good value compared to the previous-gen models.

I find it strange Youtubers test these low-end and medium-range GPUs on 1440p and don’t even bother testing on 1080p. I mean, only 5 cards manage to exceed 120 FPS on average in 1440p and they were all about using high refresh rate monitors a couple of years ago. You can’t achieve those refresh rates in 1440p with these cards. And why even talk about 4k when half of them can’t play at 60 FPS? I don’t get it.
